Welcome to the Land of Smiles! Airport pickup and hotel check-in. Evening Chinatown food walk — the best street food in Bangkok.

Early start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew. Continue to Wat Pho for the Reclining Buddha and a traditional Thai massage at the temple school. Cross the river to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) at sunset.
D3 Bangkok — Canals & Markets
Morning longtail boat ride through Bangkok's klongs (canals). Visit Wat Arun. Afternoon at the Jim Thompson House Museum and shopping at Chatuchak Weekend Market (if weekend) or MBK Center.
D4 Ayutthaya Day Trip
Full-day excursion to Ayutthaya, the ancient Siamese capital. Explore temple ruins, Buddha heads entwined in tree roots at Wat Mahathat, and the iconic rows of Buddhas at Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon. Return by river cruise.
D5 Bangkok to Chiang Mai
