Our Japan and China tour exceeded every expectation. From the moment we landed in Tokyo, our guide Kenji made us feel like family. The highlight was walking the Great Wall at Mutianyu with almost no other tourists around — Kenji knew exactly when to go. The coordination between the Japan and China teams was seamless. Already planning our next trip to Southeast Asia with them.

As someone who has traveled to 40+ countries, I can honestly say this was the best-organized tour I have ever experienced. Our Tibetan guide Tashi was incredibly knowledgeable about Buddhist history and culture. Standing at Everest Base Camp was life-changing. The permit process was completely handled by the team — zero stress on our end. Highly recommend their Himalaya tours.
We were nervous about traveling in Asia with our two teenagers, but Asia Wonder Tours made it effortless. Our guide Linh in Vietnam was amazing with the kids — she taught them how to make spring rolls and arranged a bicycle tour through Hoi An that the whole family loved. Angkor Wat at sunrise was absolutely magical. Every hotel was excellent, every transfer was on time. Truly a five-star experience.
Viajé sola por primera vez en Asia y tenía mis dudas, pero Asia Wonder Tours lo hizo increíble. My guide Nok in Thailand was not just a guide — she became a friend. From the floating markets in Bangkok to the pristine beaches of Krabi, every day was perfectly paced. I felt completely safe and taken care of the entire time. Will definitely book with them again for Japan next year.
Our South Korea winter tour was magical. The DMZ tour was fascinating and our guide provided historical context that made it deeply meaningful. The Gyeongju day trip — the "museum without walls" — was a highlight we hadn't expected. Seoul's Christmas lights, Korean BBQ dinners, and the personal touches from our guide made this one of our most memorable trips. Already recommended them to three friends.
The Silk Road tour was the trip of a lifetime. From Xian to Dunhuang to Samarkand — every stop was more breathtaking than the last. Our guide in Uzbekistan, Alisher, was a walking encyclopedia of Silk Road history. The Mogao Caves in Dunhuang are something every human should see once. The logistics across three countries were flawless. This company genuinely knows Asia.
China had been on our bucket list for 20 years. Asia Wonder Tours made the wait worth it. The Forbidden City, the Terracotta Warriors, the Li River cruise — each was incredible in its own way. What impressed us most was the flexibility. When I mentioned I love photography, our guide rearranged the schedule so we could catch golden hour at the Great Wall. That photo is now on our living room wall.
Bhutan was everything I dreamed and more. The hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery was challenging but our guide Karma paced it perfectly. Visiting local farmhouses and sharing meals with Bhutanese families gave us an authentic experience no standard tour provides. The Punakha Dzong at sunset is one of the most beautiful sights on Earth. Thank you for a life-changing journey.
Four countries in 20 days — we thought it might feel rushed, but the itinerary was brilliantly designed. Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos each got exactly the right amount of time. The handoffs between local guides were flawless. Each guide picked us up at the airport like long-lost relatives. Special shoutout to our Cambodian guide Sopheap who made Angkor Wat come alive with stories.
Traveling in India as a first-timer can be overwhelming, but our guide Raj made us feel comfortable from day one. The Taj Mahal at sunrise moved me to tears. The Ganges evening aarti in Varanasi was profoundly spiritual. Beyond the big sights, Raj showed us hidden temples, local chai stalls, and introduced us to his own family. That personal touch is what makes Asia Wonder Tours special.
We booked the panda tour for our daughter's 10th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. Holding a baby panda at the Chengdu Panda Base was the highlight of her life (and ours!). Beyond pandas, Sichuan impressed us deeply — Jiuzhaigou's turquoise lakes, Leshan Giant Buddha, and of course the incredible Sichuan cuisine. Our guide arranged a birthday cake for our daughter at a local restaurant. She still talks about it.
Mongolia was unlike anything we've experienced. Sleeping in a ger with a nomadic family, riding horses across the endless steppe, and watching the Naadam Festival wrestling matches was unforgettable. The Gobi Desert's Flaming Cliffs at sunset were surreal. Only minor feedback: the vehicle drives between destinations were long (which is expected in Mongolia). Overall incredible value and an authentic adventure we'll treasure forever.
